IP address
Date and time of access
Websites from which you access our site (referrer URL)

The legal basis for data processing is our legitimate interest pursuant to point (f) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR. This legitimate interest serves the purpose of ensuring the functionality, security, and availability of the website for all visitors and, where applicable, in the establishment, defence, and enforcement of legal claims.

You have the right to object to this data processing (right of data subjects to object to the processing of their data based on legitimate interest pursuant to Article 21(1) of the GDPR). In this case, we will only process your data if there are compelling legitimate grounds on our part that legitimise further processing.

It is not possible to directly infer your identity from the collected information. The data will be automatically deleted once the aforementioned purposes have been achieved.

We do not use cookies or similar technologies on our website. Therefore, your personal data will not be processed in this regard (e.g. no data will be passed on to third parties for analysis and tracking purposes).

You have the right to object to the processing of your data based on legitimate interest (data subject’s right to object pursuant to Article 21(1) of the GDPR). In this case, we will only process your data if there are compelling legitimate grounds on our part that legitimise further processing.

4. Automated decision-making and profiling

We do not use any profiling or automated decision-making technologies.

5. Data transfer and recipients

We generally only transfer the data we collected on the basis of your use of our website to the extent that this is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes described (operation and maintenance of the website by external service providers, transmission of data to e-mail providers for the processing of communications). However, we may also be obligated by law or by a government authority to disclose data to third parties (e.g. data transfer to law enforcement authorities).

In all cases of data transfer, we ensure that only the information that is absolutely necessary is transferred and that we comply with the data protection regulations for data transfer (e.g. ensuring strict compliance with instructions for processors via Article 28 contracts, obligations of confidentiality, and ensuring an adequate level of protection in the processing of personal data).

6. Storage period for data

Your data will only be stored for as long as is technically and organisationally necessary to achieve the purposes set out above and to fulfil our legal obligations. We retain log file data for a period of 6 months. Where applicable, we also retain your personal data for certain periods of time on the legal basis of legitimate interest. When determining the periods, we take care not to violate your rights and freedoms. Once the retention of your data is no longer necessary, we will delete your data immediately.

7. Data subject rights / your rights to protect your personal data

You have a number of rights with regard to your personal data processed by us. You can assert all of these rights free of charge and informally (by e-mail, telephone, or post) using the contact details provided and, if necessary, after providing proof of your identity. Your rights in detail:

Right to be informed: You may informally and at any time request information about the data we process. In this case, we will inform you in writing about the data we have stored about you, the purposes for which we use it, the categories of recipients to whom we pass it on, and how long we intend to store it. We will comply with your request for information immediately, but at the latest within one month.

Right to erasure: You have the right to, at any time, informally request the erasure of your data processed by us. We will comply with this request if your data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, if you revoke any consent you may have given, in the event of unlawful data processing, or if the erasure is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation.

Right to rectification: In case we mistakenly process incorrect or incomplete data about you, we will of course rectify it. To exercise this right, simply send us an informal request.

Right to restriction of processing: If you do not consent to the use of your data beyond its storage but it is not possible to delete the data or you do not wish for the data to be deleted, we are obligated to restrict the further processing of your personal data at your request.

Right to data portability: Upon your informal request, we will provide you with any data we have stored about you, which we have received due to a contract or because you have given your consent, free of charge in the form of a commonly used file format. You may use this data for your own purposes and pass it on to future contractual partners. If it is your wish and it is technically feasible, we will also transfer your data directly to a recipient specified by you. In this case, we will inform you once the transfer has been completed. We will comply with your request immediately, but at the latest within one month.

Right to revoke consent: You may revoke your consent to data processing at any time with effect for the future, in which case we will cease the processing of your data. The legality of the data processing carried out up to that point is not affected by the revocation of your consent.

Right to object: If we process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest, you have the right pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation to object to any further processing of your data. If you exercise this right, we will no longer process your data for the purpose to which you have objected – unless there are legitimate reasons on our part for further processing that outweigh your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.

8. Right to lodge a complaint

The EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Austrian Data Protection Act guarantee that you have the above rights concerning the area of data protection. Should you feel that we have violated any of these rights, you can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The supervisory authority in Austria is the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna.
